What’s awesome is you can control your wolf’s speed, strength and stamina! But if you drag one up, another will go down, so balanced is best.

In the character customizer, you can choose any color you wish. Specifically, a two-year-old (adult) timber wolf. WolfQuest is a wonderfully true-to-life game that you can play in Single Player mode or Multiplayer, and of course, you play as a wolf. Think of it as a the realistic equivalent to FeralHeart. Official Site(s): (Some don’t work on different browsers, so try them all!) However, you can’t save your bird or your progress and there are no accounts-still, since there isn’t much you’d want to save, that isn’t a big deal. There are lots of neat tricks you can learn. Even so, the graphics are decent and it’s one of the most popular free-flying games.

Overall, Fly Like a Bird is an again openworld browser MMO that hosts a lot of roleplaying but doesn’t have chat or name filters. If you don’t want any of that though, there’s always a Single-player option that’s great for practice 😉 Thing is, there are no chat filters, and you can name your bird anything you want, so as you can imagine some people are, again, pretty rude. Go into options and crank up that resolution though, it’ll look pretty neat ^^ The graphics are pretty good, but not as great as WolfQuest. That’s why you should always build your nest in a hidden area, so bullies don’t try to poo-bomb you while you’re keeping your egg warm XD And if it happens to land on a human or even a fellow bird player, you’ll get a point! Some players do it to be mean, but others just do it for fun-divebombing each other ect. After that, you’ll have to sit on it to keep it warm! When it hatches, you’ll have to bring the chick food for awhile before if flies away and grows up! This achievement doesn’t really win you anything, though I think you might get a health boost.Īlso-get this-when you aren’t holding anything and press space, you can be that annoying bird you’ve always wanted to be and poop on people. If you collect more twigs and bring them one by one to your nest, soon you’ll receive an egg that you can lay. If you land on a building or somewhere on the ground and press space while holding a twig, it will start your nest. In the city world, it’s ironic because a lot of the twigs are on intersections, where you’re in danger of being run over ( you have five lives. Crashing into things, getting run over or getting caught by a human all take one away).Īnyway, once you’ve got a twig, you can carry it anywhere you like, and press space bar to drop it. Nests and Chicks! You can use the yellow arrow on your mini-map to locate twigs. However, there are some optional quests you can do… That’s okay though, because like so many others this is an openworld game, with no mandatory goals. After you select your bird species, you can enter any name you wish-but your characters and progress aren’t saved. This isn’t an MMO in the sense that your character is linked with an account, though. You can pick a Hillscape, Cityscape, Industry, Islands, or Snowscape. You choose one of a few small worlds, each like servers. There’s plenty of choice, but there’s really nothing else. However, the only thing you can change about your character is the bird type:īarn Owl, Crow, Eagle, Macaw, Pigeon, Ringneck, Robin, Seagull or Starling. X3 I like it because it’s one of the only free-flying games I’ve found, where you can control a flying animal in a semi-realistic world. I’d hardly call it an mmorpg, but you do play as a character you choose so I suppose that counts.
